Lauren Peet - Podiatrist

The Practice

Lauren has recently joined the team at Ellerslie Foot and Physio Clinic after completing her Bachelor of Health Science, majoring in Podiatry. During her studies she had a 5 week placement at Ellerslie Foot and Physio and also worked alongside Kathryn in the Diabetes and Rheumatology clinics. Lauren is interested in all aspects of Podiatry, but especially enjoys working with biomechanical problems and sporting injuries. She has been involved in a Podopaediatrics study over the summer, where she worked with leading researchers in the field. Lauren is committed to ongoing learning and is working towards her Masters in Podiatry.

Kathryn and Debbie have worked together for over 10 years. They offer separate, one-on-one consultations in a private and friendly environment. Their aim is to accurately diagnose the cause of all presenting problems/injuries, to give a thorough explanation and to provide treatment solutions which focus on self-management and future prevention.

They use a hands-on, holistic approach which focuses primarily on good posture, muscle balance and stability. It is their philosophy that this approach, combined with appropriate supportive footwear (where necessary) takes precedence over the prescription of orthoses.
