Kathryn established her practice in 1995. She has over 16 years' clinical experience and has an interest in all areas of podiatry. As well as working in her private practice, Kathryn is a contractor for the Manukau Super Clinic (Counties Manukau) where she has worked for the past 9 years as part of a multi-disciplinary, diabetic foot ulcer clinic. Kathryn is currently completing a Masters qualification part-time through Monash University, Melbourne.
Debbie qualified as a physiotherapist in 1986 in London, UK. She joined Kathryn in private practice in 1999. Debbie has over 23 years' clinical experience in physiotherapy and has post graduate qualifications in musculo-skeletal and manipulative physiotherapy from UK and NZ. Debbie has an interest in all areas of musculo-skeletal physiotherapy and focuses on a hands-on approach.
The Practice
Kathryn and Debbie have worked together for over 10 years. They offer separate, one-on-one consultations in a private and friendly environment. Their aim is to accurately diagnose the cause of all presenting problems/injuries, to give a thorough explanation and to provide treatment solutions which focus on self-management and future prevention.They use a hands-on, holistic approach which focuses primarily on good posture, muscle balance and stability. It is their philosophy that this approach, combined with appropriate supportive footwear (where necessary) takes precedence over the prescription of orthoses.
